Weiterhin Maskenpflicht bei Besichtigungen und Führungen // Masks still compulsory for tours
Der Besucherbetrieb ist im Aachener Dom läuft wieder (fast) in gewohntem Betrieb. Nach wie vor sind pandemiebedingt ein paar Vorgaben einzuhalten.
Coronaschutz
- Im Aachener Dom besteht weiterhin Maskenpflicht – sowohl bei einer Besichtigung als auch bei öffentlichen Führungen.
- Auch in der Domschatzkammer gilt weiterhin Maskenpflicht.
Öffnungszeiten
- Der Dom ist täglich von 11 bis 19 Uhr, sonntags von 13 bis 17:45 Uhr zur Besichtigung geöffnet.
- Die Domschatzkammer öffnet tägl. von 10 bis 18, montags von 10 bis 14 Uhr.
- Die Dominformation ist täglich von 10 bis 18 Uhr geöffnet.
Führungen
- Öffentliche Domführungen finden täglich zu jeder vollen Stunde von 11 bis 18 Uhr statt, samstags von 13 bis 18 Uhr, sonntags von 13 bis 17 Uhr.
- Täglich um 14 Uhr finden Führungen in englischer Sprache statt.
- Tickets erhalten Sie nur vor Ort in der Dominformation, ebenso Eintrittskarten in die Domschatzkammer. Reservierungen und Vorbestellungen sind nicht möglich.

Visitor operations in Aachen Cathedral are (almost) back to normal. Due to the pandemic, a few restrictions still apply.
Corona protection
- Masks are still compulsory in Aachen Cathedral – both when visiting the cathedral and during public tours.
- Masks are also still required in the Cathedral Treasury.
Opening hours
- The cathedral is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. for guided tours.
- The Cathedral Treasury opens daily from 10 am to 6 pm, Mondays from 10 am to 2 pm.
- The Cathedral Information Centre is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
Guided tours
- Public guided tours of the cathedral take place daily on the hour from 11 am to 6 pm, Saturdays from 1 pm to 6 pm, Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm.
- Guided tours in English take place daily at 2 pm.
- Tickets are only available on site at the Dominformation, as are tickets to the Cathedral Treasury. Reservations and advance bookings are not possible.
